History and inspiration of product: The Design is inspired by the very diverse and rare corn that Tlaxcala offers( Tlaxcala is the smallest state in the Mexican Republic) Our corn vary from all types of colors and breeds some thought to be extinct. The Tlaxcala community has successfully and with a lot of effort and resistance kept its culture, traditions, secrets and identity. The colors of the stitching represent the multi color of corn teeth that come in the cob (as well to represent our diverse skin color of our people). In the middle we have a mask from a HueHue ( A Mask that represent the face of a stereotypical Spanish conquistador) A very distinguish mask that only Tlaxcaltecas know of and also identify our history. Last we have the Tlaxcala state outline to show even though we are the smallest state we have huge things to offer and teach. The red is a color in our state flag that represents nothing else but strength. This whole piece is proudly Made in Tlaxcala.
